Ingredients 

  • 1 lb Brussel sprouts
  • 5 Garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 5 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Cut off the bottom of brussels sprouts, and slice each in half top to bottom.
  • Heat oil in a cast-iron pan over medium-high heat until it oil is hot. Add brussel sprouts cut side down in one layer in the pan. Add minced garlic, and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Cook until sprouts begin to brown on the bottoms, and transfer to oven. Roast, shaking the pan every 5 minutes, until sprouts are brown and tender. About 20 minutes.
  • Stir in balsamic vinegar, and serve hot.
