Short and sweet this recipe is as easy as it gets. Most store-bought condiments are loaded with sodium, which is why we love making out own here at Cukebook. This low sodium blueberry compote goes great on pie, pancakes, crepes and more.

  • Small wood spoon

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups Blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 3 tbsp Water
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice preferably fresh

Instructions

  • Add one cup of blueberries and the remaining ingredients to a small saucepot and simmer over medium-low heat for about 10 minutes. 10 minutes
  • Add the rest of the blueberries and cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Serve warm. 10 minutes
