Low Sodium Pesto & Goat Cheese Chicken

Who doesn't like goat cheese and pesto? This low sodium pesto and goat cheese chicken recipe is so easy to make that directions are practically in the name. Although this recipe only has four ingredients, it's totally tasty. This is a great recipe to whip up if you're in a pinch and have a couple things laying around. Ingredients

 3 oz Goat cheese
 1 tbsp Pesto
 4 Chicken breasts 6 oz breasts pounded to 1/4
 Pinch of black pepper, ground

Procedure

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Prepare a baking sheet by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.

In a small bowl, stir together the pesto and goat cheese. Set aside.

Place the chicken on the prepared baking sheet and top each breast with fresh ground black pepper.

Divide the goat cheese mixture evenly across each breast.

Place the chicken on the middle rack in the preheated oven. Bake for 10 minutes, then turn the broiler to high. Leave the chicken on the middle rack under the broiler for another 7 minutes.
